The Main Event - Our Wedding in St. Helena, California

October 7th was the main event for me.  While the planning happened in just a few short months, it was the day I had been preparing for my entire life.  Planning for this wedding was a big turning point, as I realized that I wanted to pursue my creative passions more and share this part of my life with more than just my close friends and family.

We had our wedding at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch in St. Helena, California.  It was a magical night shared with our family and friends.  It was everything I had hoped for it to be and more.  Thank you to everyone who shared in our special day.

Our photos are my favorite thing we have from that day.  I had to have the best capture the big day.  Photographer, Jennifer Skog, was a dream and did an exceptional job catching all the intimate moments.  I will treasure these photos for a lifetime.

Waking up that morning, I wasn't nervous at all.  The morning of seemed to go by in slow motion, as I soaked up quality girl time with those closest to me.  Tatiana, with A Touch of MUAH, was a life saver and came through to do hair and makeup for some of my bridesmaids and moms.

As soon as it was time for me to get in the shower, the day started to fly by.  Once Lindsay Skog, with PMA, arrived for my hair and makeup, I started getting anxious and could not wait to see my main squeeze!  Putting on my Made with Love Bridal gown felt like a dream.  It was the most comfortable dress!  My Haute Bride jewels were the perfect extra touch.

Our first look helped shake a lot of the nerves and anticipation of the day.  Seeing Nick was such a special moment and likely the only reason I was able to keep it together during the ceremony.  The few minutes we had alone was one of my favorite parts of the day.  We had a chance to just take a deep breath and soak each other in.

The ceremony was in the perfect setting under the arbor, near the cafe, at Farmstead.  Our guests were ushered in near the Long Meadow Ranch tasting room, where many grabbed a glass of wine as they waited.  We wanted our guests to relax and enjoy being in beautiful Napa Valley, so I was excited to see that those who arrived early were able to enjoy some of the Long Meadow Ranch offerings.

My cousin, Jon Webber, played acoustic guitar as guests arrived and did our ceremony music.  It was the perfect touch to the perfect day.

The ceremony was  followed by cocktails and lawn games.  Farmstead was my dream location, as it has sophistication in a laid back environment.

It sums up Nick and myself perfectly.  Our tiny guests had a blast too.

Dinner was delicious and

served family style.

Guest enjoyed seasonal salad to start and Farmstead's yummy BBQ pulled pork and chicken, along with mac and cheese and veggies.

As Nick and I looked out on our guests, enjoying dinner under the glow of the string lights, we felt so much gratitude for all of those that came to celebrate this big moment in our lives.

The Model Bakery

made the perfect

petite cake.

We went the non-traditional route and enjoyed  carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.

Oye Productions rolled fresh cigars on site, which was a real treat for our guests.  It was fun to see people enjoying cigars by the fire and taking in the setting at Farmstead.

The day flew by and we danced the night away.   It was a magical night in Napa that I will cherish for a lifetime.  The entire day was flawlessly executed by Amazae Events.  We could not have done it without them.

Thank you again to all of our friends and family for joining us!
